Rome is the best city in the world where art, relaxation, and shopping can be experienced at the same time.Tourists can admire its monuments, statues and fountains while they explore the downtown areas for shopping
One of the most well-known names among Rome's shopping streets is the Via Veneto.
Via Veneto
This leads on to the bustling Via del Tritone (also with a wide choice of things
to buy), which in turn reaches the Via del Corso and the Piazza Colonna with
its second-century column. About a couple of hundred yards walk away from here
is one of Rome's most famous centers of attraction: the magnificent Trevi Fountain
(throw in a coin or two for luck - it's the thing to do). Another short walk
from here brings you to the Piazza del Quirinale, a spacious square lined with
16th-century palaces. Among them is the Quirinal Palace, home of the Italian
president.

Victor Emmanuel Monument
Go further down along the Via del Corso and you reach the busy, crowded Piazza
Venezia - in many ways the centre of the city, where several main roads meet.
The square is dominated by the huge Victor Emmanuel monument. Close by, the
splendid Palazzo Venezia houses a museum with a fine collection of medieval
art. From the piazza, the broad and straight Via dei Fori Imperiale cuts through
the extensive ruins of the imperial forums and temples of ancient Rome, to reach
the massive Colosseum and the imposing Arch of Constantine.
